Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab?

Apple iPad MB292LL/A Tablet (16GB, Wifi)

Tablets are stepping it up big time. It can possibly replace the need for a laptop in the coming years. Two of the hottest tablets out in the market is the Apple iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Apple iPad has been out for some months now, so people are more familiar with it. Here are the noticeable specs for each:
So in a nutshell, the Samsung Galaxy Tab wins in the specs area, sporting 2 cameras, more RAM, Micro SD expansion slot, and Adobe Flash Player.
Adobe Flash Player
IDK about you guys, but I think Adobe Flash Player is a huge deal to portable devices with browsers. Apple is sadly mistaken by not supporting Flash Player. It allows you to see any page in the way they are suppose to. Have you ever stumbled upon a page with a video, game, etc. and had that "install flash player"? Its annoying how the only way I can view that video, I would have to go to a computer. Well Flash player allows you to view any online video, flash games, etc.
Price
The price for the cheapest iPad model is 500-550$ while the galaxy tab can be a little more expensive at anywhere around 700-900$. But there is no wifi only galaxy tab, each one has optional 3g service, and unlike the iPad, there are cdma versions for sprint and verizon.
Software
The Apple iPad sports the same iOS 4.1 as the iPhone, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab packs Android OS froyo 2.2 with Samsung's touchwiz user interface. The iOS is more user friendly, however Android offers immense customization and does a way better job at multi tasking (hate it how Apple thinks they were the first to multi task or say they do it the right way). Samungs touchwiz interface, however, closely resembles iOS with the app drawer being slided left to right for apps instead of scrolling up and down like stock android, sense, etc. would do.
Screen/Weight
The first picture above shows the screen sizes of each. You can obviously see that the Galaxy Tab can be held with one hand, while the iPad you can't (unless your hand is freakishly huge). Its all about personal preference, whether bigger is better, or big and portable. I got the chance to hold this product in Best Buy 2 days ago, and i have to say the 7" screen size is PERFECT. The iPad is just so huge and it weighs more. Trust me, when your holding an iPad, the thing tends to feel heavy after a while. Don't get me wrong, the iPads 9.7" screen is gorgeous, but if you go to a flash website, I get so disappointed seeing those "adobe not installed".
Conclusion
Both Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab are excellent pieces of hardware that make you wonder and look into the future of technology. The Galaxy Tab offers more value out of the box, I mean you can take pictures, record video, video conference, and flash content. While Apple's app store is more superior to the Android Market,  for those of you who craze gaming, the Flash Player on the Galaxy Tab can net so many Free Games. I would go for the Galaxy Tab, more portability and options.
